This is the Scalextric Mercedes AMG GT3 SubEnergy Racing 2017 24h Daytona 1/32 Analog Slot Car. Racing in the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship, this Mercedes AMG GT3 features one of the most striking liveries ever put onto a Scalextric model. Mimicking the heat of the sun in reference to its sponsor SunEnergy, the car seems to be a mass of heat and flame flying around the circuit. The car itself raced at the 2017 Daytona 24 Hours and has continued to be a fixture in the IMSA series throughout the year. Raced by a number of drivers including factory Mercedes man Maro Engel, the car itself sadly did not finish, but its livery certainly left a lasting impact on spectators.
